Caroline and Ali owe it to one specific person for bringing them together: Kobe Bryant. The two met at the age of 14 over their shared love of Kobe, Derek Fisher, and the Los Angeles Lakers. Kobe injured his Achilles, the Lakers went downhill, and the conversations fizzled out. It wasn’t until a couple years later when a mutual friend reunited Caroline and Ali. Much to their surprise, it was like zero time had passed. Since March 2013 the two have been inseparable. A high school graduation, four years of college, three years of law school, four cities, two dogs, and a few bar exams later… the two are finally ready to make it official (so you can finally stop asking us about it!)
